Valentines Oatmeal Bowl

A warm and heart-healthy Valentines Oatmeal Bowl topped with fresh berries and nuts, perfect for starting your day with love and nutrition.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, bring almond milk to a gentle boil over medium heat.
  2. Add rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Stir well.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until oats are soft and creamy, about 8-10 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let sit for 2 minutes to thicken.
  5. Divide oatmeal into two bowls. Drizzle each with honey or maple syrup.
  6. Top with sliced strawberries, raspberries, chopped walnuts, and coconut flakes if using.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy your Valentine’s breakfast!

Notes

For extra creaminess, stir in a spoonful of nut butter or swirl in some Greek yogurt before serving.
