Sticky Honey Garlic Thighs are tender, juicy chicken thighs glazed in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for a quick and flavorful weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (optional, for thickening)
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken thighs and sear for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken in the skillet.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  5. If sauce is too thin, remove chicken and stir in cornstarch mixture to thicken sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

For extra heat, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. Serve with steamed rice or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
