Spinach Garlic Meatballs

Delicious and nutritious spinach garlic meatballs packed with flavor, perfect for a wholesome dinner or snack. These meatballs combine fresh spinach and garlic for a healthy twist on a classic favorite.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped spinach, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, onion, parsley, salt, pepper, and oregano.
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  4. Shape mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear meatballs for 2 minutes on each side until browned.
  6. Transfer seared meatballs back to the baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve these meatballs with a side of marinara sauce and spaghetti or enjoy them as a protein-packed appetizer. For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the meat mixture.
