  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Add butter and minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and cook until the sauce slightly thickens.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, cover, and cook on low heat for 10-12 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  8. Serve the chicken with the creamy sauce spooned over the top.

For extra flavor, garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve alongside steamed vegetables or mashed potatoes.
