Maple Carrot Fries

Crispy baked carrot fries tossed in a sweet maple glaze, making a healthy and flavorful snack or side dish.

  • 4 large carrots, peeled and cut into fries
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the carrot fries to the bowl and toss until evenly coated with the maple mixture.
  4. Spread the carrot fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are tender and caramelized at the edges.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak the carrot fries in cold water for 30 minutes before seasoning and baking.
