Honey Garlic Ground Turkey is a flavorful and healthy dish combining lean ground turkey with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook, breaking up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Pour the sauce mixture over the cooked turkey and stir well to combine.
  6. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
  8. Serve hot over rice or steamed vegetables.

Notes

For extra flavor, add chopped fresh ginger with the garlic, or serve with steamed broccoli for a complete meal.
