Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs

Tender and flavorful chicken thighs glazed in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for a quick and comforting dinner.

  • 6 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Place chicken thighs skin-side down and sear until skin is golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Flip the chicken thighs and cook for another 3 minutes.
  6. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
  7. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken thighs.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature 165°F/74°C).
  9. Remove from oven, spoon some sauce over the chicken, and garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey garlic sauce for 30 minutes before cooking. Serve with steamed rice or roasted vegetables for a complete meal.
