Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup beef broth

Instructions

  2. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add beef broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits.
  6. Reduce heat to medium and stir in sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and fresh dill.
  7. Simmer the sauce for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  8. Return the hamburger steaks to the skillet and spoon the creamy dill sauce over them.
  9. Allow to heat through for another 2 minutes before serving.
