Garlic Cauliflower Mushroom Skillet

A flavorful and healthy skillet dish featuring tender cauliflower and earthy mushrooms sautéed with garlic and herbs, perfect as a quick weeknight dinner or side.

Ingredients

  • 1 medium head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add cauliflower florets and sliced mushrooms to the skillet.
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, and dried thyme.
  5. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 10–12 minutes until cauliflower is tender and mushrooms are golden.
  6. Sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving, if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine or a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese before serving.
