Cranberry Turkey Sliders

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 12 slices provolone cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: lettuce, sliced pickles

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form mixture into 12 small patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 5-6 minutes per side or until fully cooked.
  4. Place a slice of provolone cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  5. Toast slider buns lightly if desired.
  6. Assemble sliders by spreading cranberry sauce on the bottom bun, topping with turkey patty, and adding optional lettuce or pickles.
  7. Cover with top bun and serve immediately.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a layer of cream cheese spread to the buns before assembling the sliders.
