Cottage Cheese Tots

Cottage Cheese Tots are crispy, baked bites packed with protein and a subtle tang, making a deliciously healthy snack or appetizer.

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup finely crushed cornflakes
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese, shredded cheddar, crushed cornflakes, eggs, green onions, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix everything thoroughly until well combined and the mixture holds together.
  4. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of the mixture and shape into small tot-sized cylinders or balls.
  5. Place the formed tots onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the tots are golden brown and crispy on the outside.
  7. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with a side of marinara sauce or your favorite dipping sauce for added flavor.
