Classic Dirt Cake Delight

Classic Dirt Cake Delight is a fun and creamy no-bake dessert featuring layers of chocolate pudding, crushed cookies, and whipped topping that resembles a garden dirt patch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 packages (3.9 oz each) instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 3 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 package (15.35 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
  • Gummy worms for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
  2. Add powdered sugar and continue to beat until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until thickened.
  4. Fold the pudding into the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
  6. In a large serving dish or individual cups, layer the crushed Oreo cookies and pudding mixture, starting and ending with crushed cookies to mimic dirt layers.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to let flavors meld and set.
  8. Just before serving, garnish with gummy worms to enhance the dirt cake theme.

Notes

For a fun twist, add chopped nuts between layers or substitute chocolate pudding with vanilla for a different flavor base.
