Cheesy Rotel Sausage Balls are savory, bite-sized appetizers combining spicy Rotel tomatoes, flavorful sausage, and melted cheese—perfect for parties or snack time.

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, drained Rotel, Bisquick, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated.
  4. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For an extra kick, serve with a spicy dipping sauce or add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the mix.
