Bang Bang Salmon is a flavorful, spicy salmon dish topped with a creamy, tangy bang bang sauce that brings an exciting twist to your dinner table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon fillets skin-side down for 2-3 minutes until crispy.
  4. Transfer seared salmon to the baking sheet and bake for 7-10 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, in a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice to create the bang bang sauce.
  6. Once salmon is cooked, remove from oven and spoon the bang bang sauce generously over each fillet.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if using. Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra crunch, serve with a side of crispy Asian slaw or steamed jasmine rice to balance the spicy sauce.
